Malaysia Public Toilet manage by Professional and Toilet Tour

Written by Robert Gan

“The Housing and Local Government Ministry might make it compulsory for all food outlets to get their maintenance staff trained by recognized institutions to upkeep facilities. Minister Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan said some smaller outlets such as coffee shops or rural hawker centres might face problems maintaining their toilets”…………..

Anyway, I don’t think is too far fetch and it might be applicable. I in fact have experience and encounter a Professional Toilet “JAGA”. I was not only totally shock but am amaze with his hospitality and manner.

Before we go into Malaysia Professional “JAGA”. We will dwell into our Public Toilet. Public toilet can be categorized into a 2 section dirty or clean toilet. In Malaysia and some other countries, you can use this facility FREE or a minimal fee for a Jaga (maintenance) to keep it clean. This fee only reassures you that this particular toilet is clean; this does not included tissue or other toiletry.

Now, let me takes you on a tour to some public toilet (restrooms) within Malaysia Golden Triangle, Shopping Complexes, Highways and Kopitiam.

Majority of office block have LOCK toilet. Permission require from Owner or Tenant of the building. Don’t try your luck there if you have “Urgent Business.”

The best Toilet system that I ever encounter and is FREE is the toll infested PLUS Highway and some others toll infested name highways. I would assume that the management of these highways has gone into great lengths to ensure toll payers will not complaint about their high toll rates. Their “Jaga” are not only felt to be there but but they were seen to be there, even though sometimes they were at the wrong rooms and at the wrong time. (You know what I mean, Male /Female)

Now to this Old Fashion Kopitiam and those fusion kopitiam: - 95% is dirty, FREE and will be accompanying with worm, while you do your business. The other 5% will require you to be interview before entry is permitted because this toilet is LOCK and exclusive (Only 4 Customer.)

Public Area and Parks: - Roadside: -NONE available, Public Parks: - few and hidden but without utilities bowl (stolen) and water, you can relieve wherever you find a vacant spot.

All Petrol Stations: - 100% free, 95% dirty cum with grease and 5% clean. Reason being is Self Service.

Hotel:-majority of the hotels have restroom located in the lounge and most are FREE and accessible except for some which are located in busy shopping area (E.g. the one stay by the infamous Altantuya in Petaling Street.) This hotel will require user to be interview as they are LOCK.

Shopping Complexes
: - 50% is NOT FREE. Most Complexes have cost rating for per entry (20 cents, 50 cents and this do not include. tissue only free shooting and hands cleaning.) The latest I have encounter cost five (5) dollars Ringgit Malaysia at GARDEN.

Consolation: - All toilets in Mid Valley, One Utama, IKEA and Curve are free and clean. The best and most innovative is at Goldhill in Bukit Bintang.

OK, no more talk cock as if you don’t know where to find the best toilet in Malaysia.

In regard to having toilet maintenance staff trained by recognized institution as suggested by Minister Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan. Maybe Mr. Ong has the experience of the RM 5 a shot at the Garden. And from there he innovate it.

Like me tell you about the 5 ringgit a shot in Garden.

I was curious and wonder why it costs 5 ringgit just to pee or even to shit.
So, I walk toward this well dress man (bow tie, white long selvees and black pant) behind a counter right between the toilet entrances. I enquire why it costs 5rm just to use the toilet. He said politely with proper English.

Sir. This is a Premier Class Toilet. Now this toilet comes with special hand cream, hand towel, triple layer tissue and sweet fragrance smell.

I smile and said, well other toilet, do have that too, like Goldhill. And is FREE!

But Sir, he said, I will also gives you free voucher worth Rm 5 for your purchase on selected store within the complex. So is FREE. Come on in, Try it out.

Wow…that what I call selling.

I was taken a back, shock and stunt. Isn’t this an interesting concept, if you do really shop in the selected store, you will get a free pee and shit in a clean and fragrance environment. Your RM5 will be reimbursing through your purchase.

Guess their motto is “pee or shit b4 u shop”

Anyway, I didn’t take his offer. I went over to Mid Valley which is free and no sale gimmick.

So,you see Datuk Ong Ka Chuan suggestion might be feasible or even viable to be a self employ businessman.
Some of you might find it hilarious when he bought this issue up. Think about it.
Datuk Ong is finding a solution to get those illegal out of the country and creating a business opportunity.

Killing two birds with one stone.

No more INDONS, NEPALI women running around swiping their mop between our legs while concentrating on doing our business. Instead we will have well manner personnel look after our welfare or maybe keeps us up to date on the stock market or football result. And is FREE.

The Catch is that you MUST MAKE A PURCHASE, so that your Pee and shit will be dispose of FOC.

So establishing an Institutions and getting certification is not entirely bad idea.
Maybe we Netizen should support his proposal

So you Against or With Datuk Ong Ka Chuan?

As reported in Malaysia Insider(25/04/08).“It’s over. The single act which alienated many Malaysians and was responsible for driving many Chinese and Indians into the clutches of the Opposition will not be repeated. Umno Youth chief Datuk Hishammuddin Hussein today cut his losses and apologised for the keris waving act which he introduced as an opening gambit at the Umno assembly three years ago.”

This apology was made during the closed-door meeting and he said that is time to he offered Malaysians an apology over this Keris waving act.

At a press conference after the meeting, the Education Minister said that he was sorry if his keris waving action had affected non-Malays. For good measure, he also said sorry to the Malays.

He also apologise for not being able to uphold the Malay symbol.

His friends from MCA, MIC, Gerakan and other component parties of the BN were pleased with Hishammuddin’s apology

His colleagues in the Barisan Nasional Youth were surprised when he broached the subject of the keris during their closed-door meeting.

For Hishammuddin, the apology is a must if he harbours any hope of rising to the top of the political ladder. The man who would carry on the legacy of his grandfather and father – Onn Jaafar and Tun Hussein Onn, both men who were revered for their sense of fairness and belief that Malaysia belonged to all races.

This Keris waving act stunned him when the results of Election 2008 and the swing of the non-Malay vote to Pakatan Rakyat, especially so in Penang.
In the last two years, even his Chinese businessmen friends have been wondering whether he had crossed over to the dark side and become a Malay nationalist.

This apology is the first step by him to try and rehabilitate his image and re-launch his political career.

What about ‘WE’ the Ra’ayat really thinks of Datuk Hishamuddin Hussien Apology

Can we accept his apology done in close door?
Was he sincere?
What about the Ra’ayat that was “HURT” (Domestically & Overseas)?
Can We forgive him?

Khalwat Applicable in this time and age

Khalwat offences in Malaysia are committed when a man and a woman who are not family members, and when at least one of them is a Muslim, are caught in 'close proximity'. The couple could be in a room or in a public park.

'Muslims are sentenced in Syariah courts...but we don't have the jurisdiction to sentence non-Muslims,' Syariah Court of Appeal Judge Asri Abdullah was quoted as saying by The Star daily.

'Their non-Muslim partners can probably be sentenced in the civil courts, to be fair to both parties,' he told reporters at a seminar on reviewing syariah laws organised by Ikim and the judiciary department.

Malaysia is a Multi racial country.. if this is implemented will this not create segegration. Muslim and Non muslim will moving further apart.
